Busy, busy, busy....

It's been awhile since I've posted and wow have we been busy.  December is always our busiest month.  Filled with birthday's, parties, dance recital, Christmas and Delainey going to visit her dad.

Delainey started kindergaten in September and she absolutely loves it.  She adores her teacher and is doing extremely well in class.  Her teacher tells me that she's such a joy to have in class.  Delainey has been reading some and is in the highest reading group in class.  She was Student of the Week back in October.  Her teacher also tells me that Delainey is always the first one to help out and that she gets along with everyone.  I couldn't be more proud!!!  :)

Delainey also started dance again in October.  She's taking Pom and Ballet and she loves it.  Their Christmas recital was "Grinched" and she was a "Who."  The costumes were adorable and the hair made them even cuter.  Although, it wasn't as easy to do as I had expected.  lol!!!

Delainey turned 6 on December 22nd.  Where does the time go?!  It's hard to believe that she's 6 already!  She's growing up way too fast.  We also had a very nice Christmas spent with family and friends.  Delainey got a lot of cool stuff.  Here's a few pictures from her birthday party and Christmas.

We came out to Utah on the 31st so Delainey could spend some time with her dad and his side of the family becore her Christmas break ends.  She found out that she's going to be a big sister again.  She told me that her step-mom is going to have a baby and that she hopes it's a girl because she wants a sister.  lol.  I'm sure she's having a blast with her dad and the rest of her family but I miss her and can't wait to see her tomorrow morning!
