HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I can't believe that it's been 5 years since my life was changed and I was blessed with a beautiful, little girl.  She is such a blessing in so many ways and I love her more than anything!!

We had Delainey's 5th birthday party on Saturday.  She got a lot of really cool things and had a blast playing with her cousins and her little friend, Alyssa.  It was a really nice day and we want to thank everyone who came out!!  Today is her actual birthday so I surprised her by taking her to eat at McDonald's with 2 of her little friends so they could play after they ate.  After we left we also went to look at the Christmas lights that people have up.  We both had a lot of fun!!

She also received 2 packages in the mail this week.  One from her Grandma Tracy (Chris' mom) and one from her Grandma Sharon (Chris' grandma).  She was so excited and called her Grandma Tracy to thank her.  I think they both enjoyed talking to each other and I know Delainey is excited to see her Grandma when she goes back for a visit in a couple of weeks.  She was bummed though that her daddy didn't call her on her birthday.  :(

We are also gearing up for Christmas and Delainey has been counting down all week!  We are finished with our shopping (other than the rest of Chris' family...we have time though as she won't see them til after the 1st of the year) for the most part...I just have to get the rest of the stocking stuffers.  I'm hoping to be able to go out at some point tomorrow since I don't have to work.  Delainey has become a sneaky little thing and tried peaking at the items that weren't wrapped yet.  She can also spell her name now so she's been checking the tags on all of the gifts to see which ones are hers.  lol!!

Recital

Delainey had her 1st dance recital tonight and she did an amazing job.  She was so excited about her little outfit and wearing make-up.  lol.  We practiced her routine almost every day so she would remember it for her show.  All of the girls did an amazing job....and Miss Stephanie did an awesome job working with the girls to make sure they were ready!  Here's a few pics and a video.  It's not the best video (I cut the end off) but it's alright!  :)

 

We are almost ready for Christmas.  I still have to get a couple more things for Delainey.  She got a video from Santa the other day and he told her that she has been a very good girl this year.  Her face was just priceless when he was talking to her.  We still have to get a few more things for Chris' family but we have time to get those since we don't fly out there until January 6th. 

Delainey will also be turning 5 in less than a week.  Her birthday party is on Saturday and she's so excited.  I can't believe that she's going to be 5 already!!  Oh how the time flies!!!!  :)
