Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!!

It's about that time where the weather starts turning a little cooler and the leaves start to change.  We love jeans and t-shirt weather!!  But before we think too far ahead let's recap our summer!  :)

Delainey had so much fun.  She finally fell in love with the pool and we went every day.  She learned how to "swim" without floaties and she'll even jump in in the deep end now (thanks to Jennifer!!)  :)  Delainey's going to be bummed when she finds out that Monday is the last day the pool will be open for the summer!  :/

We also got a puppy back in July.  He's the cutest little furball ever!  He's a shih tzu and we named him Sparky.

Delainey loves to go to the little carnivals around town when they come.  We've been to a few this year and she loves the rides that don't go too fast, playing the games (she won a goldfish) and getting her face painted.  This was the first year she was willing to try an elephant ear and she loved it!  lol!!

My parents went out of town to visit relatives so some friends babysit (childsat as Delainey calls it) Delainey for the week.  My friends Laura and Kristy took Delainey to the zoo and took some of the best pictures of her! 

Delainey starts kindergarten on Tuesday and we still have to finish school shopping.  She just got a few new capri outfits so that's a plus but we still need to get jeans and more school supplies!!  The school is making me angry too.  She's new to the school and we haven't received any information on her teacher, what time she starts, if it's full or half days, or the supplies she needs to bring in.  Every time I call they can't seem to answer my questions and I'm beginning to get irritated!! 

Delainey is visiting Chris right now.  We've been out here since Monday afternoon and come home tomorrow.  I can't wait to see my babydoll because I miss her sooooo much!!

Dance and Summer fun!!

Sorry we haven't updated the blog in awhile. We've been having a busy last few months.

We finally got our own place again back in March. It feels good to be back in a place with just the two of us. If you don't have our new address it's: 22203 Century Drive. Taylor, MI 48180. :)

Delainey finished her 1st season of dance and absolutely loved it! In fact, she loved it so much that she is taking 2 technique classes this summer. They're 8 week classes. She's in pom again and trying ballet to see if she likes it. Her spring recital was so much fun. She did a great job and I'm so extremely proud of her. The recital was called "Dancing Through Time" and her pom class danced to "Johnny Be Good." Her teacher, Miss Stephanie, did an amazing job with the girls and Delainey can't wait for her next recital!!!

So far we are having a wonderful summer.  Delainey absolutely LOVES the pool.  We're planning a fun day on one of my upcoming days off.  On the agenda is going to see the new Whinnie the Pooh movie, Olive Garden for lunch (D's favorite place to eat...of course she only gets the pizza...lol), and Putt Putt!  We can't wait!!!!

Delainey also wants to thanks her Aunt Missy for sending the nice card!  She put it out on the end table and shows everyone who comes over!  :)  She can't wait to see all of her family in Utah in a few months!
